We were on a trip from Mumbai to Delhi by road and needed a break on our drive. Udaipur seemed perfect for a break since it is approx. 750Km from Mumbai & is perfect location with enough places of interest. We did not want to spent too much on regular hotels & thus opted for OYO Rooms. On our way back we wanted to spent one day for visting Udaipur Palace & do some boating in Pichola Lake. We opted for a property closer to Pichola lake & this one seemed perfect. Another reason was that this property is unlike the concrete/brick&mortar structure we were used to. So we decided to book this place. This is a gated property housing 12-15 individual tents. Rajasthan (desert) & tents are associated, so no surprise for us on that aspect. The place is full of greenery & hardly any heat we associate with a place in Rajasthan. The property is very old, needs a lot of maintenance. The tents look good from outside but the lining fabric is too shabby from the inside. Bathrooms are average with hot water & bare amenities available. The pricing is not cheap comparatively but okay for a one-time stay. We stayed for 2 days in March and would not necessarily return to this place unless they do some upgrade with regard to maintenance. This place is recommended as a one time experience for those seeking something different, nothing more.

This is not a hotel or resort this is a dhaba. I booked this property through oyo when I went to check-in at the time of check-in only the rude receptionist asked to me pay the amount of booking I paid and one of the rude staff escort me to the room when I entered in the room it was totally messed-up a rat smell was there in the room the room was too dirty linen was stained full outside of tent was very dirty and there were many wholes in the tent the bathroom was very dirty there is no security not at all safety I found there, the receptionist was very rude and her behaviour was not at all accepted.. I immediately went out the room and called oyo to complain about the hotel I went to reception for checkout the rude lady told me she will not refund my money back I have to ask to oyo first but I can't stay there anymore so I checked out on the spot with in 20 mins. Strongly dissapointed. #nohospitality

We stayed here last year with our extended family around 10 people. Tents were smelly and rat beats is visible all around . Bathrooms were horrible and taps were broken. When we complained to manager he even didn’t bother. After heated argument they changed our tents. But they were also slight better. I do not recommend to stay here at all in such overly priced dirty tents. Location is good but overall disappointing stay

The Aravali tent resort is Jaisalmer kind of tent resort. It's perfect blend of old stay type with new age facilities. Staying here is peaceful experience. They have tents with Air conditioning and attached toilet and bathrooms. Campus very big. Veg restaurant is available within campus which serves good food. Children can also enjoy play area. Only suggestion is to check tent for completeness and cleanliness. Try for different experience.
